Clocks Serviced and Repaired at my workshop in Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire.

As well as having considerable experience, I am a full member of the British Horological Institute and a member of the British Watch and Clockmakers Guild. Please see more information under Qualifications.

All work is carried out within the BHI and BWCMG codes of practice. Additionally, for antique clocks the BHI guidelines for the Conservation of Clocks and Watches are applied.

I normally collect, and after servicing, return and set up larger clocks such as Longcase Clocks. This service is only available for customers located within Stratford-upon Avon and the surrounding villages.

The well-equipped and secure Workshop is not open to casual visitors, but potential and existing customers are welcome to bring their portable clocks in.

I carry out all work to clock movements myself. Where Dials and Cases (rarely) require specialised work, this is passed onto experts in those fields after discussion with the client.

I have fixed prices for basic servicing of clocks, although many require remedial work. Please see the Prices page.

Richard Thomas Clockmaker is no longer trading.

Other registered clockmakers can be found via the British Horological Institute Registered Repairer Scheme.
